Job Summary

Responsible for game & entertainment functions related to bowling, laser tag, arcade, including league & tournament development, equipment maintenance, inventory, and facility cleanliness and maintenance functions. Directly involved with the continuous growth of games revenue, profitability and quality goals. Along with GM, ensures efficient total center operations as well as maintain high productivity, quality of service, cleanliness, and delivery of a superior customer experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates activities of employees engaged within the entertainment center including: game operations, guest services, facilities, and food operations.
  • Oversees staffing by selecting, training, coaching, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations, and enforcing policies and procedures in accord with company and corporate policies.
  • Schedules and coordinates the work of games side employees to assure that service delivery and game side functions are economical, efficient, and within budgeted labor cost goals.
  • Leads and motivates staff in a positive manner through effective motivation, fostering high staff morale, leveraging individual strengths to ensure guest satisfaction and maximum productivity, and effective delegation of duties.
  • Consistently delivers exceptional customer service through execution of Company standards.
  • Builds customer relations through soliciting feedback, addressing and resolving customer complaints; ensure customers receive prompt, efficient, courteous service.
  • Oversees care and maintenance of all equipment pertaining to the department.
  • Ensures that Center is clean and ready for guests at all times.
  • With GM, drives package sales, advertising and marketing for game side operations.
  • Implements, communicates, and ensures the achievement of operational goals and objectives.
  • Ensures synergy between the Bowling Center, Restaurant, and other departments within the facility.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable occupational health and safety regulations and laws to create a clean, safe, and hazard-free environment in adherence with company standards and within the scope of responsibility.
  • With the GM, develop and maintain league business by building strong relationships with league bowlers/officers.
  • Play a significant role in long-term planning including an initiative geared toward operational excellence. Updates job knowledge and network by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Maintains his or her personal appearance, punctuality, professionalism, and work ethic at all times.
  • Proactively interacts with customers throughout the center.
  • Perform other duties as directed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Carries out direct and/or indirect supervisory responsibility over team members throughout the Center; all supervisory responsibilities will be carried out in accordance with company policies and applicable laws with a high level of respect and integrity. Responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, training, coaching, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining in accord with the General Manager and our Human Resource Department.
